Sara McKee

Founder & Market Innovation Director

Sara is on a mission to revolutionise the lifestyle choices for older people, abolishing the current institutional models and building homes where love matters. Her extensive experience in market innovation and business transformation for start-ups, small to medium enterprises and large corporates makes her a force to be reckoned with. Combine this with her unbeatable connections and ability to influence policy through roles like Chair of the Centre for Social Justice’s Older Age Review, and there’s no doubt that Evermore will become the beacon for innovative services for older people.

Dr Bill Thomas

Global Chair

Dr. Bill Thomas is an author, entrepreneur, musician, teacher, and physician who is internationally recognised as an expert on elderhood and geriatric medicine. He is the founder of a global non-profit The Eden Alternative, which works to improve the care provided to older people, creator of The Green House®, and co-founder of ChangingAging. A self-confessed nursing home abolitionist, Bill is special adviser to the Evermore senior team and advocate of the Evermore brand globally.

Rebecca Johnston

From the Arctic Circle to St James’ Palace, Rebecca’s public relations career has spanned 20 years, several continents and a gamut of industries. Rebecca’s expertise lies in helping organisations identify and develop the stories that connect and engage with their target markets, raising brand awareness and enhancing reputations in order to grow the business. Her passion is working with organisations that truly make a difference to people’s lives and she can’t wait to share Evermore’s story with you.

David Springthorpe

Chief Financial Officer

David is a senior commercial leader bringing a wealth of experience operating at board level in Blue Chip companies from Virgin Atlantic to BAA Heathrow Airport. Most recently as Chief Financial Officer at Anchor, he led business strategy and transformation, property management & new build development, procurement and IT, in addition to his core role in Finance. David was responsible for re-shaping the broad Anchor business and he introduced the development of Retirement Care Villages into Anchor.

Nick Hynes

Property Director

Nick is a Chartered Surveyor who left MEPC, at the time one of the largest property companies in the UK, in order to found Magnus. He has been Managing Director for over 25 years and has over 37 years’ experience in commercial property investment, development and funding. Nick has been responsible for developing over 500,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, 450,000 sq ft of industrial space and over 1m sq ft of refurbished office space. He has also developed a variety of amenities including a Gym, Restaurant and Nursery.

The senior team has consulted with industry experts who boast extensive aged care and health sector experience, commercial nous and most importantly, passion to make a difference.

Dr Bill Thomas, founder of the Eden Alternative and Green House Project, is one of the organisation’s key supporters. An international expert in elderhood and geriatric medicine, Bill said Evermore represented the opportunity to reinvent residential living for older people in the UK.
