Ellen Kerr has been appointed Relationship Manager by Evermore ahead of the development of its first community in Wigan, due to open in Spring 2019.

The appointment was made to help Evermore cement lasting relationships in Greater Manchester as part of the organisation’s commitment to providing rich and meaningful opportunities for its customers to engage with the local community.

Ellen has more than 20 years’ experience in business development, sales and marketing, and event management. Her roles have included more than 16 years at Business Link North-West and she’s helped deliver some of the biggest events in Merseyside, including The Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) for Liverpool Vision in 2011, Inbound Marketing UK and IFB2016.

Welcoming Ellen to the Evermore Tribe, Sara McKee, Evermore Founder and Director of Market Innovation, said: “Our desire is to build longstanding relationships with the communities we serve. We want to engage with community leaders, social enterprises, local businesses, schools and colleges and anyone else who has their community at the heart of what they do.

“Ellie was a natural choice for this role. She’s a fellow entrepreneur and firestarter; a relationship builder who has strong connections in the North-West developed over many years working in the region and through her role as a Board Director of Women In Business NW. She has vast experience and, most importantly, Ellie gets stuff done.”

Ellen’s priority will be to identify like-minded individuals and organisations for Evermore to collaborate with in Wigan.

Commenting on her decision to join Evermore, Ellen said: “I’m looking forward to building strong connections in the community of Wigan to help bring together a new concept in older age living.  It’s wonderful to be part of a unique company that has such vision and willingness to make an impact and disrupt the usual conceptions of the sector.”

Evermore at Wigan will provide apartments for rent to older people who want to remain living in their community, feeling connected and supported to live a life full of colour, meaning and purpose! Located in the centre of Wigan on Worsley Terrace, just off Standishgate, our community will consist of two apartment blocks with over 50 apartments.  It is expected to open in Spring 2019.
